I like to think balance about the concept of shifting extra weight. We need to look at more than diet and consider the holistic view of what is really going on. It’s true when we carry extra belly fat it can add pressure on our internal organs and so we do need to keep a healthy balance. Of course we all want to fit into those jeans without the button pressing on our tummy after eating, but lets keep perspective too.
The scales are not necessarily giving us a true reading, unless we are looking at fluid, fat, muscle, bone density and more. It is correct that being overweight or obese is going to increase our inflammation levels and therefore put us at risk of chronic disease. 2020/21 has shown us we need to look after our health as this can impact on our immune system. Our immune is constantly looking out to fight off pathogens like bacteria, fungal infections and viruses.
I take a holistic view and also understand my clients still want to live without deprivation and I always take this into account when planning the protocols for them.
For some it is the lack of good quality sleep, others might have hormone imbalances (more about that later), stress, nutritional deficiencies caused by an imbalance in the gut whatever it is I want to arm with you with the right tools to support your body in finding it’s wellness blueprint.
I am taking registrations for my upcoming Winter Wellness Program for the end of the month where I will be working closely to help achieve weight loss goals but more importantly how to maintain them and feel amazing.
